Over the past 4 years of playing this game, I can see why folks can get burned out or turned off. Having a great group of people with common goals and easygoing personalities to team with makes a huge difference. It's just very hard to get more than a couple of people together in anything who can all get along and agree on everything and not let the occasional ego get in the way. It's not just flyball, I've found it's any group of adults that gather with a common interest - there's always personal and political issues. Just human nature. We've had ups and downs, personnel changes and right now we're in a great position - even though we will probably never run in Div. One, at least with our current group of dogs, but we usually do really consistenly and have a good time together anyway. The good times take the edge off the rough spots we've had in the past. We have to travel farther than most other teams in our division, and yes, that is a pain, but well worth it. Welcome back and hope to see more of you!
